Police report is very important because after the police officer decides to arrest someone, they drop them off at the jail. The arrest isn’t over at that point, they have to walk back to their car to type up the police report, and get it approved by the judge before the arrest becomes final.

So the arrest report or the police report is the bottleneck to a person getting out, and then being able to hire a lawyer or a bail bondsman or pay a cash bond to get released.
