The Travis County Sheriff’s Office jail facilities house co-ed inmates in varying levels of security jail locations. The Corrections Bureau is in charge of transporting inmates to and from locations outside of the jail. Attorneys are licensed professionals who can assist with jail release functions within the county. Bail bondsmen may require a cosigner, attorneys do not. Bail bondsmen can not see the judge, attorneys can see the judge to get an inmate out of jail. To modify bond conditions, a licensed attorney may assist in talking to the judge.

While most bail bondsmen are closed in the evening hours, we have jail call staff available to talk 24/7 to help with inmate search, bond amount checks, and setting up in person visitations.
