Where Is The Travis County Jail?

Travis County Jail is located at 500 West 10th Street, in Downtown Austin. It’s a few blocks away from Sixth Street, the main entertainment district for Austin, and it’s right next to the Capitol also. And it’s very close to the UT campus as well. And really it’s to the west of the downtown area, but it is still centrally located, with plenty of parking.
